[izpack-users] 3.9.0: java.lang.NullPointerException at Installer.main(Installer.java:62)

Good afternoon, Klaus.

The first thing I thought when I saw the exception - that jar-file is
corupt. That's why I re-downloaded the last IzPack version. The same problem
still exists.
But still, I've done as you wrote - opened "info" and as last words there is
now: "..... %$INSTALL_PATH/installinfo/Summary.htmt 0uninstaller.jarp"
So I have correct jar-installer.

The most amazing thing is that version 3.8.1 install works without any
problem! Even without defined CLASSPATH and JAVA_HOME! Interesting..

Well... ok, if you have no idea what can be here - I'll try to continue
finding out. Maybe I'll install JDK 1.6.0 beta, considering that you tested
with it.

I'll write here if I find a solution.

Thank you very much for your time, Klaus.

With respect,

Yurii Kartsev,
Soft IT
