[izpack-users] parsing of environmental/system variables in installation definition XML

Hello

I am using IzPack to package my application. I tried to find the
answer in the documentation, but with no luck.

I am using the ant task in order to create the installation jar file.
In the "input" XML file I have of course to define the application
version. I was thinking if it is possible to use e.g. an ant (or even
a system) variable instead of defining it there. The last time I
checked, IzPack just grabs the information between the appversion tag,
without parsing it.

Is there any way to do it, or should izpack be patched?
