[izpack-users] running a post install script and file separators

Hi,
I assume that most post installation scripts are
useful in specifying installation paths and other
paths. Typically, I guess one would save this in a
.properties file that can be read in with the java
Property class. However, I noticed that with a
.properties file on windows, since paths currently are
specified with a single '\' separator the Properties
class assumes that that is an escape character and
drops it, and when the .properties file is re-saved,
the '\' is no longer there.
I was wondering if by replacing the single '\' on
windows with a '\\' would be a generic solution and if
it can be done.
TIA

PS. I'm not sure of the scripting mechanism that
IzPAck uses, so if it is really a system-dependent
issue, I can try out alternatives for my installer.
