[izpack-users] <executable ...> doesn't work

Hi Hans-Georg,
sorry, but where is the problem?
Some mails earlier in this thread we have had the
theme "stage", you remember. In the trace the stage value
is an int, not a symbol. executionStage = 0 means "postinstall",
1 "never" and 2 "uninstall".
Look into the log file.

install_helper.bat has 1 and will be therfore NOT performed.
Same for install_helper.vbs, uninstall_helper.vbs

uninstall_helper.bat has 2 and should be performed at uninstallation.
Until now I have no information about the uninstallation behavior.

office_install_helper.bat has 0 and will be performed.

If I look into the installation description file from a mail
earlier and remove the outcomments, then the logfile shows
exactly what declares (if we accept that the default of 
stage is never).
What was happen some mails backward where you described that
stage postinstall do not work?

The last lines with the UninstallerIcon and the duplicate entry
are really bland. I have written the code which dumps it.
If you do not belief look into the code. In opposite to 
professional software you have the sources.

Buy the way: how can I execute programms OS dependant in install4j?
