The IzPack Launcher version 2.1 has been released. It allows to
provide native executables that:
check for the presence of an adequate Java Runtime Environment
assists end-user in installing a Java Runtime Environment if none
could be detected, either by using a bundled one or from the Internet
launches an IzPack installer once the previous steps have been
completed.
This release is based on the Qt Toolkit. Compared to the previous
release, it introduces many bugfixes. It is considered to be usable
in production environments, and it is strongly advised that you use
version 2.1 over the older 1.3 that was based on the wxWidgets toolkit.
