Hello,

I would like to do the following two things in my installer and wanted
to gather input from the community on the best way to approach this:

- I am creating a web-based installer. I would like to make available
packs to user's based on an ID that they have (even if a user selects
the base pack, which base back he/she gets will depend on the ID. What
I wanted to do was something like this: www.download.com?id=1 and this
would enable me to determine that packs to provide to the customer.
However it seems to me that you cannot provide a variable link to
<webdir>. Is there a way to do this?

- Once the user has installed the packs on the local machine, the
sources will then need to be FTP'd to their web server. What would be
the best approach to do this?

I would appreciate any input I can get.
