I will cool-down the atmosphere here by just stating that:
1. nothing is perfect here,
2. if you have a brilliant idea, please submit a patch and we will
merge it if it makes sense (don't forget to document it else it's only
useful to you)
3. if you spot somthing and fix it, please submit it, it has even a
higher chance to go through than improvements as we do care about
fixes.
